Introduction:

Join the leadership team at Mother Earth Recycling (MER), an Indigenous Social Enterprise based in Winnipeg. At MER, we're dedicated to providing meaningful training and employment opportunities to the urban Indigenous community, driven by our commitment to environmental sustainability. We're looking for a dynamic Manager, Business Development who shares our passion for making a real difference.

Role Overview:

As the Manager, Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of MER. Your work will directly impact our community and environment, overseeing the successful implementation of business development strategies and goals as established by MER’s Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies and work plans to drive sales goals across all active lines of business.
  • Manage and create content for various marketing and communication channels, including online/social media.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, public, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the management, staff, and consultants to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the financial success of the business aligns with our social, environmental, and economic mission.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in direct sales and managing sales pipelines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Self-driven and motivated, with a proven capacity to manage expectations.
  • Willingness to work onsite and at client locations.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and generate effective marketing materials.
  • Indigenous heritage would be considered an asset.
