How Do I Apply?
New applicants to any Education or Training program must attend a CAHRD Orientation Session and complete a Level Placement Test (LPT).
CAHRD Orientation Sessions are held every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. and Thursday at 1:00 p.m in Room 304. Sessions fill up quickly, so it is recommended to call ahead and book a spot.
Level Placement Tests are held every Monday and Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. in room 304. Level Placement Tests are conducted in a closed group setting. You must also book a spot for this session.

Neeginan Learning & Literacy Centre
The Neeginan Learning & Literacy Centre is a holistic learning environment designed to provide relevant programming to adult learners in the Winnipeg Aboriginal community. They believe in building stronger communities one family at a time.
Aboriginal Community Campus
The Aboriginal Community Campus (ACC) is a stand-alone, adult education centre that provides a holistic learning environment with year-round quality educational programming. Accredited through Manitoba Advanced Education and Literacy, programming ranges from basic literacy to assisting mature students achieve their high-school diplomas.
Neeginan College of Applied Technology
Neeginan College of Applied Technology is CAHRD’s in-house technical and vocational post-secondary training division. CAHRD works closely in partnership with industry, business and training institutions to ensure that our students are prepared for jobs in high-demand industries.

How do I register for school/classes?

Does CAHRD have any daycare/support for my children while I am attending school?
Yes, CAHRD provides on-site daycare through it’s two licensed centre’s: Kookum’s Place Preschool Centre and Kookum’s Infant Centre.
I have not completed High School education, what services does CAHRD have to help me attain my Grade 12 Diploma?
The Aboriginal Community Campus offers literacy, upgrading, and academic programming for those who wish to complete their mature Grade 12 Diploma.
How long do full-time training programs usually last?
Full-time training programs vary from 5 months to upwards of 14 months depending on the program. We provide free information sessions on the current programs followed by a tour of our college facilities. These sessions run every Friday at 9:00 a.m. in room 304. Please call ahead since the sessions fill up quickly (204) 989-7110.
