October 15th, 2015 – Mark Chipman, Executive Chairman of the Board of True North Sports & Entertainment Limited and Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club along with Kevin Chief, Minister of Jobs and the Economy came through CAHRD to meet with students and host a pizza lunch, catered by Neechi Commons.

CAHRD was pleased to have Chipman and Chief speak with students about strengthening our neighbourhood and community, and to hear what students have to share about their experiences with CAHRD.

The Healthy Living Program, which promotes personal heath and wellness within the student community, was also highlighted during the event. Students spoke about the positive impact that the Healthy Living Fitness Club, the Learning Garden, and Neeginan Village have all made on their families and overall well-being.
