As an Indigenous Uniform Security Guard, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's premises. Your keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to service will make you an invaluable asset to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas diligently to detect and deter security threats, ensuring the safety of our community.
- Enforce regulations to maintain order, resolve conflicts, and monitor establishment activities, fostering a secure environment for everyone.
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, taking decisive action when necessary to protect lives and property.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of security activities, contributing to the overall safety and security of the site.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, reflecting our commitment to excellence in every interaction.
- Collaborate closely with your reporting supervisor, fellow security guards, and our valued clients to uphold the safety and well-being of the assigned site and its
- Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement and create incident reports
Requirements:
- Must be of Indigenous descent (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis*).
- A valid Security Guard License is highly preferred, or the willingness and ability to obtain one, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders such as our teams and clients and fostering positive
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, demonstrating resilience and sound judgment in challenging circumstances.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills, essential for detecting and addressing security risks proactively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, adapting to the dynamic needs of our operation.
