POSITION TYPE FULL-TIME
The Position
As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work under the direction of the Site Superintendent. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operation of hand/power tools
- Knowledge in concrete forming, rebar placing and rebar tying
- Ability to perform manual labour, Project tasks as assigned, carry materials, tools, and equipment
- Proper care and attention of company tools and equipment
- Prepare work areas for subtrades
- Physical endurance being able to lift 50lbs at a time
- Good interpersonal/communication skills when working with sub trades and other team members
- Good understanding of safety policies, safe work practices and safe job procedures
- Must be willing to work in variable climatic conditions
Qualifications & Skills
- Certified Level 2, 3, or 4 Apprentice
- Reliable, hardworking team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively
- 3-5 years experience in the construction industry an asset
