As part of the Eco Team, Overnight Cleaners will work with the Operations Department to support the upkeep of The Forks Market. These folks will be “on the ground” with front-line teams, to ensure visitors experience a clean and welcoming site. The Eco Team Overnight Cleaner will assist in:

  • Executing proper operating procedures of floor machines, ensuring The Forks Market floors are cleaned and maintained on a nightly basis.
  • Cleaning Travel Manitoba offices, including but not limited to, dusting, sanitizing, and maintaining overall cleanliness of those spaces.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors, ensuring a comprehensive approach to maintaining cleanliness and order in the designated areas.
  • Reporting any issues observed during overnight shifts to their supervisors, in a timely manner.

The Eco Team Overnight Cleaner is someone who:

  • Is able to work independently and responsibly, prioritizing tasks to ensure all duties are completed.
  • Pays close attention to detail and is dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Has excellent time management skills and is able to complete tasks within specified time frames.
  • Has physical stamina, which includes the ability to work eight hours on their feet, at a fast pace, walk up and down stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills.
  • Is available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
