Live Video Defense is in search of a youth (age 18-29) for an entry level Live Video Monitoring Position. Live Video Monitors use customized software to watch live video camera events and follow developed procedures when an event occurs. The successful applicant will be required to work a variety of 4, 8 and 12 hour shifts, weekdays, and weekends. This is a full time opportunity with an hourly wage of $16.00 and possible overtime opportunities. Training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor cameras for extended periods of time and remain alert.
  • Operate Surveillance equipment to ensure accurate video documentation with regard to irregularities or deviations from normal activities in all areas of responsibility.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, overnight shifts as needed.
  • Write clear, concise, factual reports, and gather pertinent documentation about all incidents that occur in or on monitored property.
  • Communicate all suspicious activity up the chain of command and other designated person(s) as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned/required.

Skills required:

  • Excellent ability to verbally communicate in English in person and over the telephone.
  • Maintain excellent vision and hearing.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must have basic computer skills and working knowledge of Windows Office suite programs.
